Join Research is student-led and student-first, guided by a small crew of mentors: university students, graduate students, researchers, professors, and teachers. Sessions have been led by MIT mentors, a TMU professor, a biology PhD candidate, and a Western University medical student.

What mentors do here

  • Lead or co-lead Research 101 sessions with students starting from zero.
  • Help students frame their first real research questions.
  • Show what your field actually looks like from the inside.

A small crew of university students, graduate students, researchers, and teachers runs every season. Applications are short, and every one gets read. Research 101 runs online, so you can mentor from anywhere in Canada or beyond.
